Return of the Tyrant
Originally a solicitor by trade, Philippe Tancreedi was first encountered in Vogelbrucke, where he was pegged as a serial murderer striking back at his promiscuous wife Nina by maiming and killing her lovers. Through a series of complicated events, the PC’s discovered that Philippe was in fact a clone of his original self, created by Nina to be a docile replacement for her husband, whom Nina had brutally murdered. The clone of Philippe recalled this last, violent memory and it drove him to a state of near madness. The party eventually cornered Philippe, calmed him down, and in a twist ending, implicated gold-digging Nina in all of the murders. Sindra even went out of her way to set Philippe up with Roksana, a widow who had also been a victim of Nina’s affairs.
Fast forward seven years later, and Philippe now finds himself as a spokesman of sorts for the Esoteric Order of the Palantine Eye. His status as part magical construct meant that he was unaffected by the mass transmogrification of living people in Vogelbrucke when the portal to Carcosa was opened. (It also resulted in Roksana leaving him, due to his lack of aging and infertility). It was Philippe who first greeted Nabila and Sindra upon their resurrection and helped fill them in on the events of the past seven years.
